ANNOUNCEMENT: Amendments to posting classified ads in BMWCCP Forum

must be posted. Click here on instructions on how to post pictures. An alternative is to post a link to another site where pictures of the item can be seen. It is recommended to post a front, side, back, engine bay and interior shots of the vehicle as these are the most common requests of prospective buyers.

2. The price for the item/vehicle
must be posted.

3. That vehicles posted for sale
must declare whether papers are complete or not (i.e. taxes paid)

4. The seller
must respond to those who inquire within 48 hours.

6. We allow the sale of BMW-related items that may be in conflict with our sponsor products and services,
for as long as it isn't for commercial purposes. It should be along the lines of disposing the personally owned item.

7. BMWCCP members may sell non-BMW items in the Flea Market section of the Member's Only Area.

8. Failure to observe the above guidelines will result in having the thread locked. Locked threads will remain accessible for reference unless the administrators deem it necessary to delete it if deemed inappropriate (e.g. offensive, misleading, non-BMW items, etc).

We look forward to your compliance with our new guidelines and rules. Thank you and enjoy your visit!

I saw the mini and its really a nice toy for the big boys but unfortunately, the series one look more classy, formal and family friendly with its 5 door. Depends on the use I guess. I do agree though that the prices o BMW these days are indeed sky high compared to the japs that's why had to get the most practical instead...

You're absolutely right and BMWs are of course still in a higher class than MINIs and naturally it depends on what your reason or purpose is as you said. I'm just very annoyed and i guess frustrated with the current way BMW is being run in the Philippines.

Just found out that the previous 1,599cc engine in the previous BMW 116i has been replaced last year by the Hams Hall-built 1,995cc engine already showcased in the 118i and 120i models! This latest edition to the BMW 1 Series range still produces 122hp, but torque has been increased by 25Nm to 185Nm between 3,000 and 4,250rpm. Acceleration from zero to 62mph has improved as a result of this. A five-door 116i now records a 9.9 seconds time as opposed to 10.2 seconds! Acording to this article, it retains its CO2 emissions figure of 139g/km and Vehicle Excise Duty C banding whatever that means....bottom line is I gues its really a better deal for me..cant wait to drive......
